The Frederick Arts Council is the umbrella organization that supports all of the arts in Frederick, MD, and hosts numerous events and initiatives throughout the year. The challenge was to create a distinctive and sophisticated look for their fundraising event that would appeal to both artists and art enthusiasts in the community. To emphasize the arts we created a logo featuring an easel as the “A” in the ArtSelect mark and used rich colors and a simple font to create a clean and modern look. The versatile design enables the “A” to be used as a standalone element or as a backdrop to literally display various works of art.
